“The table is not so good quality as I expected. It is marine plywood in some places but we were told to paint underneath to stop the mould especially if you are keeping the table outside. Even with a cover, the damp can still penetrate the timber. The timber inside is unpainted so we had to take the slate top off to paint inside properly with waterproof paint. Plus it is very loud when you play and we had to add foam underlay to where the ball rolls down to absorb the sound. It took a whole day to paint inside and to add the foam layer after the paint had dried. With the rest of the table the quality is ok and the slate top is fine. I like the waterproof cover. All the balls go in a pocket at the end of the table. It would be better to have a see through window at the side so you can see the order of balls potted. The table would be better if 8ft long. The guys who assembled the table were very nice. I paid for assembly and they were very professional. So for not so good quality it's still too expensive. No sound proof, no really mouldy proof cas I have to paint inside my self.”
