Dr. Dabber Switch 2 Titanium Insert Reviews

5 Rating 3 Reviews
“I love the titanium insert! I actually prefer it over the quartz one (i haven’t tried sapphire). For me as a long time combustion smoker, the titanium insert just gives me more satisfying hits. Both produce similar sized clouds. Maybe a slight edge to the titanium insert as far as thickness of smoke/vapor but it’s close. The titanium insert just feels more like smoke hitting the back of my throat, and it makes me cough less overall. Quartz feels more like vapor, and a little more wet, kind of like an e-cigarette feels to me. I also think the titanium insert is better at completely burning off a dab. There’s little to no oil left when I swab it clean after a heating cycle. With quartz there tends to be a bit of oil left over more often than with the titanium insert. I’ve been using it between 460-480 on descent mode and find the flavor to be excellent. I really don’t notice much of a difference in flavor vs. quartz. But I’m also not a low temperature dabber. If you are like me and weren’t 100% satisfied with the quartz insert for the reasons I described above, definitely give the titanium insert a try!”

“It heats up fast and it'll last forever, but less flavor and higher dab temperature compared to something like sapphire.”

“Heat up time is about the same as the stock quartz. The vapor production isn’t as cloudy as the quartz but the “smoke” looks more like a vapor than smoke. And it’s easier to see into the cup since it’s reflective.”
