“The Vessel Compass looked beautiful, but wouldn't work at all. Lights lit up when plugged in, but nothing else was functional. I was able to return it (free returns), but Lighter USA only gives credit on defective items and not actual refunds... those are only for unopened packages. Obviously, I opened the package to find out it didn't work. Their policy states this, and I didn't read it thoroughly enough, so my bad there. The phone and chat support, contacted during stated business hours, led to no response and no actual follow up. Their address showed they're very close to where I live, but ended up being a UPS Store address, so I couldn't just go in and swap it out. The lack of any personal response to my reaching out in a days time made me feel not so confident in this company.
Their automated system, works, though, and prompted me to leave a review. Maybe they'll wish they had contacted me back when they read it.”
