“It works right out of the box, but the magnetic connection probably wasn’t the best route to go, you have to clean the connectors with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip almost everytime before you use it because it won’t make a connection with any, and I mean any, residue on the connecting points.
Battery is also kinda comical, when set to 60 sec, you probably get 6 maybe 7 uses before you have to charge again. Charging only takes about an hr but with how frequently you have to charge it, the battery will probably be worthless in about a year.
When you factor in price, you get what you pay for. It’s a fraction of the price of the huni badger (which is probably the best portable nectar collector) so if your not tryin to shell out over a hundred dollars, this might suit your needs, It does feel kinda cheap in your hand, there’s almost no weight to it, but it comes with a bubbler and the tips get hotter than the seahorse pro, so I’d say it’s a better option than one of those. ♂”
“Out of the 3 e. Nectar collectors i got from yocan the dyno looks the coolest but performs least out of the 3. Still a good tool & for the price you can't lose.”
“I love this nectar collector . It has a little learning curve. I found that if I hit it nice and easy no clogs and good hits. I'm thinking I would buy another one a buddy of mine.”
“Do not be discouraged, you will need a good amount of material before you see reclaim as it hides inside the tips' base cavity. Be careful brushing through the tip, there is a wire inside and a tiny metal plug that is not attatched that push out of the tip, you will drop it once and it will vanish. It's the size of a match head and they don't mention it. Once full you can melt a half gram out of the tip at any time if you run out, not too mention the reclaim under the bubbler. You have to keep refilling the bubbler, it does spit a tiny bit no matter how soft you hit it. I stuffed a screen into the mouth piece but it will soon rust. If you are a heavy smoker buy 2 if you want the battery to last you the whole day. It will clog after most decent hits as the wax stored in the tips base seals off the tip each time. You have to hold the button for 3-5 seconds, while giving good suction until it clears out. For the price. I can deal with adjusting. If the tip keeps saying "no atomizer", the tiny metal plug in the tips base, has a silicone gasket o ring it sits in. The wire inside the tips base has a stripped end. It does not physically attatch to the tiny metal piece it just sits inbetween the rubber gasket and the plug making continuity for the electric current. If you pull the tip off and a tiny bit of material gets on the end of the metal tiny plug then it will also say, "no atomizer". There is no place to get help, I had to figure it all out on my own. It does what it is intended to do, once you have the tip base filled with material, around . 5 to 1 g. It kind of holds the tiny plug and the wire in place. I am happy with it. Just trying to cut the learning curve for everyone! Looks Great. Holding up well. Over 420 hits.”
