“Plug does not fit into weather proof out door light sockets, so you have to a plug open to all weathers. Also very large allowing you to use only one side of a double socket!! Does not do what it says on the box!!”

“We bought a set of LED Christmas lights from a DIY store a couple of years ago. They lasted one year, then the transformer failed. Unable to buy a replacement transformer from the same store, I bought this one - it is from the same manufacturer, with the same specification (slightly higher power output). Despite understandable reservations from the vendor ("it only works with our lights"), it works! No rewiring was required; I just unplugged the length of cable supplied with the transformer to reveal the same connection as fitted to our old transformer. This transformer has the same set of multi-function patterns for the LEDs, seems slightly better made, and is much cheaper than buying a whole new set of lights. I hope it continues to work for many future Christmases to come!”

“These appear to be excellent outdoor lights. Pleased with the warm effect led's, very close colour to the old style filament bulbs, definitely not the cold icy white look. The plug in connections need to be correctly aligned and then firmly pushed together. Time will tell as to whether these are long term waterproof but they appear well thought out. The transformer is waterproof and can be left outside, unlike the transformer we bought with our previous set of outdoor lights. These lights will be left in a tree all year round and the transformer un-plugged. The exposed plug end is then capped off. All very neat and tidy. So far highly pleased.”
