I used these lights at my daughters wedding venue, wrapped around a wooden banister at the farm. Excellent quality and extended quite far as I had 2 sets connected together. They gave off a lovely warm light. Very good value for money.

These rope lights are for ambient lighting only - they don't emit much light. That's fine. The connectors are very poor quality - the plastic screw parts do not fit positively with accessories/other ropes and are insecure.

Good value product and easy to connect together. I have bought other rope lights before and found that these ones were perhaps not as bright as others I have used, but overall a good product

I work with a couple of local ceilidh bands. We often perform with no stage, making it hard for the dancers to see where the dance area stops and the band's PA gear starts. I bought this ropelight to mark the end of the dance floor and help stop dancers getting too close to the band. It works well, giving a lovely warm light. I use the 'steady glow' setting to give a constant light. The rope seems to have survived being trodden on. It is quick to set up, the only downside being a tendency to curl up rather than lay flat. I attach the ends to the speaker stands to keep it flat, and made up a 300mm reel to store it on.
