These lanterns sit pretty before lit, the solar panel lid soaks up the sun during the day to power the LED within for 6 hours at a time. Made from real glass they are breakable and shouldn't be hung from their rope handles. To get the most out of your lanterns ensure they are placed in direct sunlight and wipe the solar panel from time to time.

“These lights charge very well and look lovely when lit hanging in trees, off gutters etc. Unfortunately, out of the 6 I bought 3 have needed attention and all for the same reason: the rope handles are not well enough attached to the metal which holds them on the jar. One light needed mending (with glue) before I hung it up, another fell onto grass and was also mended. The third one fell onto concrete and smashed into a thousand pieces. Thankfully Lisa was able to help and refunded one light and replaced the broken one.”

“Very poor indeed. Hung the lights in a tree and the ropes broke on two, and 2 out of the three I bought failed/did not come on (LEDs lights). Very disappointed and not what I expected from your company - I would like a full refund. I run a high end accommodation venue during the Glastonbury Festival and was trying these lights out with a view to buying more - I certainly won't be now and this experience has coloured my opinion of your company overall. I look forward to hearing from you very soon.”
