To illuminate, simply insert 3 x AAA batteries (sold separately) into the battery compartment located on the underside of the lantern. This lantern features an option 6-hour timer to save you having to turn it on and off manually. When used on the timer, you can expect up to 120 hours of illumination before the batteries will need refreshing.

“I bought 2 of these to add to the table with my new grey rattan patio furniture. As the natural light lowered, these came into their own. A lovely gentle candle glow which flickers just enough to look light real candle light. Nicely made ceramic lamps in a lovely light sage green so they compliment any garden setting. These have a decent weight to them so won't get blown over. The timer switch is a great idea, so even if you forget to switch them off, they will sort themselves out. As we aren't exactly getting a great summer this year, I've been using these in the sitting room for an atmospheric soft light in the evenings and despite them looking very summery, I can see them also fitting in well with Christmas foliage on the table so I can see plenty of use for these. Overall, extremely pleased. Excellent purchase, and as always, great customer care with friendly and helpful staff.”

“Light is very yellow which doesn’t sit as well with the green. But on the whole pleased with it. Trying to remove chemicals (inc burning them) from my house and this does the job.”
