With a hook at the top of the green battery box you can easily hang it out of sight. You can expect around 180 hours of shine time from each set of batteries! “These lights are BRILLIANT, indoors or out, with the battery operated power you can hang them anywhere, the program gives you a 6hrs ON setting & 18hrs OFF but if you want a longer run you can manually turn them on/off, dead easy!! I have rechargeable batteries so I can run them for weeks on end, but I don't!! everything comes down & is switched OFF on 12th night.”

“Will not be reordering these lights as each bulb is too small and doesn't emit enough light for a decent effect. Also they only illuminate for 6 hours which isn't long enough in my opinion. We arrived back home yesterday at 10 pm to be greeted by a dark unlit house - not very seasonal especially when there are many brightly lit houses along our road. When I tried to turn the lights on again it took several minutes standing in the cold before they would turn back on! Disappointed to say the least.”
