“One of the batteries became extremely hot and had to be removed quickly before it caused any damage. I think it could possibly have been a fire risk.”

Hello Joan, We are really sorry to hear that one of your batteries seemed to get really hot. This is very unusual. Further to our phone conversation, it sounds as though the battery developed an internal short and shorted itself out, and dissipating all the energy into itself making it hot.
