There's 50 LEDs spread along 5 metres of black rubber cable. Each LED has a curved cap which gives an extra bright output. The connectors are plug and play so are oh so easy to use, simply screw the caps attached over the top of the join to make them watertight. With two shrink wraps enclosed you have the option to conceal the connection. Use the included end cap on to the end of your string and they'll be ready for all the seasons.

I bought 10 boxes in a bundle set. The connectors look like the same ones as on the lights I bought 10 years ago from the same company but in fact are a lot nicer to use. The old ones were a very tight fit. I'm using two strings to make 5 long strings that wrap around a 10m tall conifer. The red is a nice tone.

I have bought both green and red versions of these lights. They are excellent in both the vibrant colour they emit and the quality of their manufacture. So easy to link multiple sets of lights (up to 40 I believe) but requiring only one plug. I highly recommend these.

This will have to serve for all items I bought, red, warm white and green Pro LEDs. They appear expensive, but are very well put together, appear bulletproof not only waterproof! Probably way over-engineered for my domestic garden setting, but they have been very much admired by neighbours and visitors strung around my conical bay trees. Bright but not overbright, and it is hard not to feel confident in those screw together fittings, each protected by a rubber o-ring seal. Visually, everything I could wish, and with those 3-way splitters and extensions (I also bought some of those), very adaptable for wiring up into tree branches (for which long continuous strings are not suitable). I knew these were mains rather than low voltage, which I think means local authorities will not use them in openly accessible positions. Not a problem in my garden, but they should really be used with an RCD, as L4F make clear, and you would probably not want them where children play. The advantage is that they don't need additional transformers. L4F seem to have comparable offerings in the low voltage area if this is of concern.
