Sitting pretty during the day, the solar panel lid soaks up the sun to power the LED within for approximately 6 hours as night falls. Perfectly placed popped in the centre of a picnic table, made from real glass they are breakable and best not hung from their handle. For best results ensure the lantern is placed in direct sunlight and wipe the panel from time to time.
