I ordered four of these candelabra which were shipped quickly by UPS and arrived in perfect condition. The packaging of each candelabra was very secure in individual plastic containers which cradled the items nicely. I took each candelabra out of its packaging and tested them with three D-cells. One of the candelabra had a single candle which was slightly loose in its base but was re-inserted easily. All four candelabra tested perfect with flickering light. Under my dining room light, the candles all lighted and, when lifted close to the light fixture, they responded to the sensor and went out until I lowered them back to the table where they re-lit. As far as I can tell, these candelabra are perfect and, with fresh D-cells, ready to go in the windows for Christmas!
