I was pleased that solar power peg already had the rechargeable battery included, and was fully ready to use. I bought it from Lights.com because the product reviews from other websites I was considering didn't have detailed instructions, and people were confused on how to use it; these came with helpful and detailed yet simple instructions on how to use it. It even has a feature setting for them to automatically turn on every 24 hours. Many different settings to choose from, where different colors will blink and fade, depending on what you want. The wattage of the lights themselves are high, but they're very subtle--which has been desirable for wanting a fun environment, but not having them be too bright by my patio window in the evening. Very satisfied with this find!
