“Update: 29 Jan 26
I would NOT recommend purchasing anything from Lilac and Mila - since my last review they have further sullied any scant remnant of integrity and customer service. Steer clear!
Shortly following my previous review submission, on Tuesday 27th January Lilac and Mila wrote a message via Facebook Messenger to my wife stating that they had “just emailed” me. I have NOT received any email from Lilac and Mila.
My wife responded to the Lilac and Mila message (TWICE) to confirm that no email from them had come through to me and that I had checked Spam and Junk folders to no avail. She reiterated my email address and requested that Lilac and Mila ‘re-send’ their email to me.
There was no response from Lilac and Mila to my wife’s repeated requests and I am still yet to receive any contact from Lilac and Mila regarding the frayed, faulty dress and the issues I described and documented with photos – in my 15th January email to them regarding this.
This is extremely disappointing.
Perhaps Lilac and Mila could consider responding to customer emails and texts and stop their fallacious claim that they had sent me an email response on Tuesday 27th January! It is now Thursday 29th January and there is still NO email from Lilac and Mila to me and no response to my 15th January (two weeks ago) email to Lilac and Mila. This is not good enough! How do you propose to address this matter? I'm still waiting.
Original Review
I would NOT recommend purchasing anything from Lilac and Mila - they provide no customer service!
Received a faulty, fraying dress - the Jaase Juneberry Print Lottis maxi dress, costing $124.95 - where-the back, right tie, frayed all along the length. It was a gift for my niece who otherwise loved the dress, had received it on Christmas Eve and it had been handwashed once prior to wear, which was when the totally frayed tie presented.
I returned the dress and re-ordered another, exact same one and wrote to Lilac and Mila requesting that they carefully inspect the dress being sent out to ensure there was no fault. The new dress arrived with an already evident, area of raw, unstitched fabric on that same, right, back tie.
My wife attempted to hand stitch that 5cm unfinished part of the tie but again on handwashing it in the bath in cold water with no agitation or hand wringing, that right side, back tie frayed along its length.
I emailed Lilac and Mila on 15th January with detailed photos attached showing the fraying fault and have received NO response. My wife sent a PM message via Lilac and Mila’s Facebook page but has had NO response. My wife then wrote a comment under a recent post on Lilac and Mila’s Facebook page asking how a customer who has received a faulty item can contact them – and again there has been NO response.
I would NOT recommend purchasing anything from Lilac and Mila. They do not respond to customers and do not address serious faults in the garments they send out. There is NO phone number on which to contact Lilac and Mila and they simply ignore their customers.”
We’re really sorry you’ve had this experience, and we understand your frustration.
This is not the service we aim to provide. We have just emailed you now about a full refund.
Kind regards,
Team Lilac & Mila
