“My lab had two recent encounters with skunks. After many years of avoidance, my curious lab was sprayed twice in one week. The lab is not aggressive and did not attempt to harm the skunk. Consequently, the spray occurred at a distance and did not heavily contaminate the dog. Of course, the dog returned to me with an unbearable odor. I hosed him down, thoroughly soaking his coat. I then washed the dog with Skunk-Off and rinsed him, repeating the process twice. I washed him a third time with regular dog shampoo (containing moisturizers) and wiped him down with a drying towel. There was only a faint odor remaining that disappeared by the time the dog's fur was completely dry. By that time, he was free of skunk odor. My wife let him back in the house! Skunk-Off lived up to its claim. It is a great product.”
