“These are awesome. The only issue I have had is if I have a large pigeon who is extremely motivated he can lift the edge of the trap and try to sneak out. However usually if I press it into the ground just slightly and pull the grass up around it so he feels protected then usually it will just sit there and I have no issues. I’ve had one bird out of one hundred or so actually get out and I probably had the trap uneven. It has definitely paid off I got to take my 10m lab out for partridge and grouse yesterday and he worked like a charm and held his point! I’m beyond happy with these tip ups!”

“Great training tool when dog is nearing finish on steadiness and you want to mimic two or more birds, small covey scenario. I pair them with one launcher. Use launcher should dog creep (assuming stop to flush is solid). Set dog back, then work area releasing birds in the Tip up cage.”

“It works great of course as its a manual unit, but one added benift I didnt think about when we purchased it is how much it prtects your bird from a young impusive pup. Great product I just wish we would have purchesed the three pack.”

“An old timer told me the more parts you have the more something can go wrong. This tip -up time tested and proven. And dose then job you want down at a cheap price. Now I am not against technology but if it is not broke don’t fix it.”

“These Tip-Up Releasers are an affordable alternative to remote launchers for releasing pigeons or small game birds for your dog's training. I combine one of these tip ups with a remote control launcher to launch two birds back to back to help install the "Whoa" command that can help a young dog to wait and hold point for the possibility of a second bird flush. It also let's the dog see that you are out in front and will be the person flushing the bird.”
