We ordered this Cotswold Sweet Hay thinking our guinea pig may be a bit more enthusiastic about it than the Timothy hay we ordered previously. The hay certainly appears to be good quality and no foreign objects/dust so far - as for taste I wouldn't know ☺ Syrup eats it quite happily but doesn't seem as enthusistic for it as the Wilkos Meadow Hay we used to give her - make of that what you will. All animals are different so I'm sure it's not a reflection on the hay.

Hi John We do stock a meadow hay so it might be worth trying them one for Syrup. Meadow is a loose term for a field with multiple hay varieties so our meadow might not be the same as Wilkos but it is worth a try. In the bales it is called Meadow and the boxes it is called Timothy Blend. If your pet likes meadow it might also be worth adding some of our forage mixes to your order as it sounds like syrup has a natural foraging instinct. thanks Maisie

The crème de la crème of hay. I didn't realise my Guinea pigs were fussy until they tried hay from The Little Hay Co. now they won't eat anything else. The quality is excellent and it is amazingly fresh, it smells just like the countryside on a summers day. Extremely quick delivery too, which is greatly appreciated. I wouldn't go anywhere else to buy my hay.
