It tastes like polystyrene nothing but what can you do? If you're on keto and gluten allergic like I am, you've got no choice. It's honestly fine.

The wraps are a decent size and tasty. They can be used straight from the packet or cooked. I tend to use mine for a packed lunch when I know I’m going to be out all day or as a pizza base. I follow WW and they’re only 1SP compared to other wraps on the market with a higher point value. They have a long shelf life too so they won’t go out of date before you get to use them.

The product is well researched and produced to a high standard. The flavour is an acquired taste, but there are hundreds of recipes to inspire and jazz them up. The relatively low score comes because of the excessive packaging. to get 24 Lo-Doughs I get a cardboard box, 12 big plastic bags and 36 pieces of paper. There must be a way of packaging in bags that can be reclosed, so we can save maybe 10 of the bags and 12 of the sheets of paper.

Hey there, We totally hear you on this one. Lo-Dough is serialised in the bag to provide an excellent shelf life and to minimise food waste. Unfortunately, the only packaging that is compatible with the sterilisation process needs to have 3 types of plastic sandwiched together to survive the temperatures involved. This inherently makes it non-recyclable. We are constantly looking for alternatives to this plastic or at least one manufactured from recycled plastic. There is no such product available as yet, but we've been talking to our packaging supplier and they are working hard on an alternative that is made from recycled material and we intend on using this as soon as it is available. The other option is for us to use a different process to give the shelf life needed and we're not overly into the idea of using loads of preservatives in the product, however, we are exploring other options such modified atmosphere packaging, which have shown some good promise. Environmental responsibility is very important to us, and we're doing all we can to ensure this is being considered as we develop as a company. We are still a relatively small company and we only use a tiny amount of plastic compared to other food manufacturers, however, we understand even this level is far from ideal and we are committed to finding a solution as we scale to a bigger manufacturing site. I hope this helps give some insight into our environmental policy and commitment to a sustainable future. Many thanks, Team Lo-Dough
