“The powder smelled delicious out of the packet but unfortunately it made a rather tasteless and stodgy cake. I followed all the instructions carefully but the cake was a solid lump rather than an airy sponge. I used 2 packets to make separate cakes and sandwich them together. It looked good and tasted fine but the texture was really poor. I wouldn’t buy again as it was quite expensive for a disappointing result.”
