“This is a wonderful bed. We got this for our 8 week cocker spaniel pup. He settled in it immediately with no crying in the night. We did not put a clock in it or a hot water bottle but we really liked that this was possible. We keep it in the crate and puppy settles in it very quickly, snug as a bug, suckling away in his sleep. The bottom is exposed foam so the cover can be removed and washed so I would be careful of this with puppies that like to destroy bedding as this has potential to be dangerous. We have a divider in our wire crate that allows just enough room for the bed so that pup can't get around and lift or get at the underside.”
