“This a followup up to my 5 star review of the Matala Biosteps10 Biological filter. As each of my pumps have a 2" inlets ...I have installed on each pump 2 Matala EzBio 20 Pre-Filter Double Core units in a "T" configuration (as opposed to screwing two together) and this has had the effect of doubling the filter capacity without limiting the flow. The filtration result shows the same success as the main Matala Biosteps10 filter...but once again that success requires a diligent cleaning regime...which with this material is the easiest you could imagine. It is so good that I now have 5 Pre-filters supporting my 3 in pond pumps.”
