“Purchased the MATALA MEA LAKE PRO 2 KIT approx. 18 months ago to help on the management of our family dam as we were losing a lot of water via evaporation , resulting in algae and loss of silver perch, Dam just seemed to be struggling.
Within days of using the kit the water started to cleare up greatly, to now being so clear we see yabbies quite easily , the algae disappeared within 2/3 weeks and has not returned.
The loss of water via evaporation has defiantly slowed, it's slowed down by at least 50% if not more.
We haven't had any loss of silver perch and there is a lot more young yabbies and older yabbies have grown bigger in a short amount of time.
I really feel adding the air into the dam water has improved it as we do not have water running into the dam it only fills during rain and over the past 12 months rain has been scarce but the level has stayed consistent and clear, the aquatic life has boomed and even the wild ducks/parrots etc have adopted the dam in numbers without the Dam suffering in quality of water.
We have never had a problem with the items in the kit and I installed it myself without any problems, very easy to do.
The Staff at Love My Pond I found to be really cool to work with in regards to questions, suggestions, shipping and follow up service, in the end their recommendation on what size kit to use was spot on. The service is really refreshing as they followed through and got the job done without any stress or problems, well done.
