“WAY TOO BRIGHT. The picture accompanying the listing does not show how bright it truly is. I'm using it, for now, in the bathroom so I don't have to turn on the overhead light to get ready for bed, but I have to try hard not to accidentally look at it directly, even for a millisecond as it hurts my eyes. This is an LED lightbulb, so why doesn't it come with an optional attachable shade for those of us who do not need to half light up entire rooms with it and have our corneas complimentarily scorched? For those looking for low amber light, skip this & find another night light, preferably one that comes with a shade.”
“These work great. Just enough soothing light to get around safely at night but not enough to force you to become fully awake. Eliminating the blue wavelength really does make a difference.”
“I really like the nightlight. It's perfect for an area of the home that you need light at night, but don't want to use the overhead lights. I keep one in my bathroom, one in my kitchen, and one in my sons room.
One thing I will mention is that this is a very bright night light. It brightens my entire small bathroom 45 square feet and it's plenty bright for my kitchen in case you need some water or something at night.”
