“Beautiful soaps I wanted to move away from shower gels full of chemicals , and found these they are gorgeous , lather up so lovely and leave you smelling amazing they smell so natural and real , I will not be using anything else on my skin in the future and am just about to order my second box.”

Hi Jane, thank you for this lovely review of our soap collection! All of our soaps are made using 100% coconut oil and are as natural as can be, using essential oils - and zero palm oil! “These are my favourite soaps, I love the gift set because it gives you a variety of really different fragrances to choose from but my favourite has to the exfoliating soap. I have quite sensitive skin but these soaps are a dream and the coconut oil in the ingredients really moisturises your skin!”

Thank you! There's no greater recommendation than word of mouth. Our soap bars are all free from palm oil (including its derivatives) and are certified Vegan, Cruelty Free, Fair Trade and COSMOS Organic. In the 2019 Free From Skincare Awards, our Fragrance Free bar won Gold and the Spearmint Exfoliating Soap won Silver, which we're really proud of. We hope you enjoy using the soaps. “Just amazed at the beautiful scent and nourishment it provides my skin. I was sceptical whether it will provide enough foaming and if I will get that clean feeling. How silly of me! Best soaps ever! Not going back to anything else.”

Hi Sandra, This is so good to hear and your comment made me laugh! I agree with you, the soaps create an incredible lather and really do leave skin clean and moisturised. “Absolutely looove the soap bars - great quality and so happy about the ethical standards - cruelty free, vegan, no palm oil etc. Comes in a lovely box and makes a great present. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because each bar is wrapped in plastic bag, even though they are also packaged in individual boxes so I don't see why the additional plastic is necessary? Lucy Bee, pleeease get rid off the plastic so it's completely recyclable packaging and get the 5 stars you deserve. Thank you.”

Hi, It’s great to hear that you are happy with your soaps. In creating these, it was important that they were not only effective but we also wanted them to be ethical, since these are both at the core of everything that we do. These values also spill over into the packaging that we use for our products and, like you, we’re not fans of plastic and avoid its use wherever at all possible. Our soap bars are unique and are made from coconut oil and this formula means that they can sweat, so to protect the soap, and to prolong the scent of the essential oils where applicable, we have to wrap them in this recyclable PP plastic sachet/flow wrap. We are trialling biodegradable alternatives but as yet have not found a viable alternative. Please be assured that we are doing our very best with this – we also carefully consider the packaging that we use to send products from our online shop, using recyclable card boxes and packing paper (no plastic bubble wrap) and even the tape is recyclable paper. i hope this explains why we have to use the recyclable plastic wrap at this time. “Have loved these soaps for ages and bought some for my dad who has psoriasis so really struggling with all the extra hand washing. He noticed a difference in his hands after one day!! He usually has awful sores and splits in his hands and they are so much more hydrated and calm since switching to Lucy Bee!”
