This is great to hear Sunita, thank you. Ours is Cinnamommum zeylanicum, also known as 'true cinnamon' so has a naturally light aroma and colors. It's a great sugar-free sweetener and can be used in sweet and savory dishes. Nutritionally, it's also naturally high in calcium, iron and manganese. Petrina

Thank you for sharing this Roy. Ours is Cinnamon Zeylanicum, aka true cinnamon and naturally has a lighter colour, aroma and taste than cassia cinnamon. I love that it's a sugar free sweetener, as well as organic and Fair Trade - certified by the Fair Trade Sustainability Alliance, they ensure that those farmers and workers that produce this Cinnamon directly benefit from the Fair Trade contributions.
