“Disappointed with the tanning drops as had seen great reviews, but I didnt have the same outcome. I had orange hands even after washing twice with soap and then with anti bac gel after application. I still had the biscuity fake tan smell, so wasnt odourless. After using a pumice stone on the palms of my hands and exfoliating all over then end result was a nice tanned glow. The consistancy of the oil is lovely and did go on nicely and sunk into skin well, but I wouldn’t purchase again xx”

Hi Louise, thank you for your feedback and sorry to hear that your hands stained. The Lucy Bee tanning drops aren’t a wash-off tan... instead, your tan will develop and then slowly wear off over a few days. If you use them again, please ensure to wash your hands thoroughly after applying and you will not get staining. The natural DHA in our tan drops works with your skin to give you an all-over natural glow, you can build on this colour if you want to. Our tan has not been fragranced, it does not have that scent of biscuits usually associated with fake tan! Instead, our tan has a light natural smell - I'm sorry this was not to your liking. “Like, not love this product. It does slightly smell which I wasn’t expecting. Definitely has the affect you want but I prefer using with moisturiser rather than neat which left an orange tint (I prob used too much!)”

We are sorry to hear the scent of our Self Tan Drops is not to your liking, we’ve formulated this product with no added fragrance because we understand how sensitive some skin types can be. “I love these drops, I usually tan on a weekly basis and have experimented with most high end brands (St Tropez/ Xen) being my regulars. I liked the idea of less mess generally with these as well as their ease of use which proved pretty much foolproof. Just mix desired amount with some lotion and apply as you would your moisturiser. The colour i feel is perfect, slightly olive based which is my preference (no orange hues), super natural and no streaks. You can easily build the colour by applying another coat the following day if you wish. I think a great addition to any beauty/tanning routine - no stickiness or dreaded tanning smell either - + does not transfer onto sheets etc. I would say though would be fab if Lucy could crate a bigger supersize bottle so that it lasts longer as its fairly small and with frequent use for the body as well as the face i imagine won't last too long. Well done Lucy! Fab product :).”

“I have never used self-tan before (because I'm lazy) but I love all of the Lucy Bee products I've tried before and this looked so simple I decided to give it a go and I'm so glad I did! It's SO easy and the results are brilliant! Because Lucy Bee haven't just rushed loads of products out you know that they've really taken the time to get them spot on. I haven't been disappointed with anything I've bought!”
