“Very fast delivery, even during the holidays. Customer service was very fast with my questions. Instructions could be a little clearer, but I was able to figure it out (for example, I didn't notice the written markings on the wood at first to indicate orientation). Overall, looks like a solid product.”

“Instructions were not as easy as described. The workmanship was shoddy as one of the slats was out of place and I had to repair it. Took several hoursa to assemble, not 20 minutes as advertised.”

“Overall, I'm very happy with the Luma foundation. Assembly of the foundation is straight forward and instructions are clear. Two moderately handy women were able to put together and move into place a California King sized foundation without any problems. Be aware that the wood is not finely sanded, but it was solid, knot-free, and clean. If I had it to do over again, I might have sanded the frame's pieces slightly before bringing them into the house. The one bit missing from the instructions is how to apply the cover. We ended up laying the cover out on the floor unzipped with the zipper edge down, lowering the foundation onto the cover's bottom, then wrapping the top of the cover over the frame and zipping into place. The cover is a fairly snug fit, but getting it zipped up wasn't too difficult. The foundation cover is very nice looking and you may decide as we did to leave it showing. The foundation does not make any noise (squeaks, etc) and feels solid under our latex mattress. A couple of minor quibbles: First, although the description on the website says that the cover is washable, there was a sticker on the cover stating that it is spot clean only. I understood "washable" to mean machine washable. I'd recommend that Luma Sleep make the "spot clean only" restriction clearer on their website. Second, the California King foundation was a very tight fit into our California King Pottery Barn bed frame in the head to foot direction. Taking 1/2 inch or so off the frame length would make lowering it into place easier and give more options in terms covering the foundation with another layer of material (protector, etc).”

“Frame is solid and was also easy to assemble. Prefer getting a foundation in the mail vs dealing with the furniture store any day”
