“It is an absolute beast. For comparison, we used our previous vacuum across the whole house, then did a second sweep with the Lupe and the amount of dust and dirt it picked up was astounding, almost 4-5 fist fulls of grime that the first run hadn't picked up. Scary.
It's really well built, charges fast with a long battery life and has a great and easy to use design.

“Excellent vacuum cleaner, does the work impressively even at the lowest power setting.
Only issues we've had so far are:
1- Can't (yet) buy the accessories or batteries, if this is meant to be a vacuum that will last for a long time, these should be purchasable separately.
2- A lot of hair tends to tangle on the tiny wheels in the "universal pick-up head", and it's very hard to clean them. Thankfully, these pieces are removable, so it'd be good to see an upgrade making them easier to clean.”
“An amazing vacuum cleaner so far!
I love how compact and powerful this vacuum cleaner is. I can store it in a small cupboard and when I need it, I just pull it out, press the power button and it is good to go. It just makes life so much more convenient! I no longer need to worry about plugging in and unplugging the power cable as I move around the house. The battery is great, my place is not that big and I light vacuum once every 2 to 3 days, I charge it around once a week. I never really got to use the max setting on it, as the default setting (medium) is good enough for everyday use.
The vacuum cleaner comes with all the accessory you need (well, I need anyway), so I don't have to worry about paying extra in the future for extra parts. With that said, it is not a cheap purchase, even with the £200 discount, it is still £500, sitting at the high end/premium price point. Don't get me wrong though, it is indeed a premium product, as far as I can tell. It feels great to use it and is more powerful than my previous corded vacuum cleaner, which I owned for years and thought it was really good enough. It is also advertised that most, if not all, the parts can be replaced if broken, which adds on to its value. One minor down side, and it happens to most of the other vacuum cleaners I have used as well, is that long hair tend to get tangled up on the brush. It does not seem to be affecting its performance and I was able to remove them rather easily.
So, if you are interested in a cordless vacuum cleaner, with powerful suction and battery life, and have the budget for it, I would definitely recommend Lupe! Aside from its performance, it is also a nice looking device (in my opinion). I have not tried any other cordless vacuum cleaners with the similar price point on the market, so I won't able to make any meaningful comparison. And I hope the unit is reliable enough and will last longer enough to justify its cost.”
“The Lupe's suction is very good it also brushes well. So this part is excellent.
However:
The Lupe is quite heavy (compared to Dyson) and not always very easy to handle. The dirt holder release button does not work properly. Filters of the dirt holder easily get clogged.
It requires many actions (at least 4) to be able to use the Lupe differently than just floor cleaning. You then have to carry the Lupe as else it keeps falling over (and it is quite heavy). Also when cleaning the floor the Lupe often switches of due to going back in upright position. Last as the brush holder is big you cannot get under all furniture.
In general this is a very good vacuum cleaner but not easy in handling.”

The machine was designed without compromise hence why it weighs more than other models. However, one of the main benefits of an upright configuration is that it helps to put the weight of the main body towards the floor, which significantly reduces the weight in your hand compared to a stick vacuum cleaner. So even though the pure cordless is heavier than some, the weight in hand is less than the lighter stick vacs making it easier to use around the home ( you can read more on this in our latest blog post: https://lupetechnology.com/blogs/news/why-we-chose-not-to-follow-the-stick-vacuum-cleaner-trend).
Sorry to hear the release button does not work properly. Please do get in touch with us and we can sort any issues out.
With regards to the filters, it is inevitable that they get blocked with dirt. We recommend washing them at least every month depending on how much you use your vacuum cleaner.
The roller and brush bar do automatically switch off when the vacuum is almost upright, but this should happen at approximately 10 degrees from upright so should not affect normal vacuum during cleaning.
