“I've only ever ridden metal pegs so review is based on this. I have found the plastic pegs unpredictable, the first grind I did was on a ledge flying out of a box jump. Hit the ledge double peg and came to an almost complete stop. On my metal pegs it would grind no problem start to finish about 5 metres. Next I hit a down rail and it was like the pegs were made of wax. Slid nicely but found I had to balance more to stop sliding off where the metal pegs lock in more. Wear wise they seem to wear quite quickly but once again I'm accustomed to metal pegs riding the same pegs for 4 years. My mates all ride other brands of plastic pegs and don't seem to bind as much or wear the same. I'm wondering if the star design is actually an issue as with other designs the sleeve doesn't bind to the peg or frame and can spin a bit with force reducing friction and wear.”
