“Best bibs I've used. They feel like a second skin. I own Rapha, Universal Colours and 7Mesh. All are good but all have one particular niggle. Hopefully, these have none. Have worn for about 300km so far and very comfortable. They are much more compressive on the thighs than the others mentioned above.
Straps are very comfortable no sense of pulling. Sizing I just followed the size guide (178cm, 35in waist, 40in hips) and landed on a large. I could probably go to an XL if I wanted them slightly more relaxed.
A big concern I always have with non black bibs is on long days them soaking up sweat and making it look like you've wet yourself when you get off the bike. Happy to say this isn't the case with these even being quite light green.
I would have bought another colour (navy or black) if they had any large in stock. However, as always seems to be the case with MAAP, they never have anything in my sizes left when the sale rolls round.
I'm very happy and very glad to get them in the sale at £85. I think I'd happily pay £150 for these but never £225+ for a pair of bibs. I'm not mental.”
