Been in and out of work in this for the whole of Jan now and experienced almost every shade of winter imaginable: torrential rain, sleet, ice, drizzle, biting wind, thick fog and very occasionally, crisp sunshine. Purchased to replace my beloved and perfectly formed (but irretrievably skanky) Gabba but on balance, very disappointed. On the plus side it looks great. Nice tasteful branding and subtle spots of colour. Everything about it says high quality and consideration and the temperature regulation is spot on. It's been between -3 and 15 degrees this month, on really cold days I wear it over a thermal base layer. If it's 5 or more just a regular base layer and at no point have I been either too hot or too cold. Also, it absolutely hammered it down for about an hour the other week but not a single raindrop got through. Nor did it get 'clammy' like the trusty old Gabba. On the downside, I was a bit miffed to find that it being a sale item I couldn't get a refund - only a voucher. Wish I'd have known this before buying as I might not have forked out for two sizes to try on. Returned the XS but kept the S and wish I hadn't now. The XS was suffocatingly tight in the neck, arms, and across the chest. The S is fine across the chest but is way too long in the torso so it's constantly bunching and rippling when I'm in the saddle and I have to wear the top zip about 1/3 down to stop it riding up my neck as well as roll up the waistband to get the material snug against my chest. The arms are fine at the forearms and there's a bit too much material bunching around the wrists and it's quite baggy around the shoulders and have a tendency to twist which again causes the material to bunch and ride up. On and off the bike I am constantly pulling material down to get it to sit right and there is limited grip on the hems to keep it in place. I thought to begin with it was just a bit stiff on account of it being brand new or the zipper lacking a bit of flex. Alas...it's just a weird cut and I am stuck with it until the Spring. I'm Very bizarre as the training jersey I got in a Small fits perfectly and looks amazing. To make matters worse, the zip has locked up and I can't get it free so I have to empty the jersey pockets and pull the damn thing over my head whenever I want to get it on or off. If I can get the zips free I will probably stick it on ebay as it still looks as good as new. A shame.
