“I used it on a MacBook Pro. I basically forced the tool in the headphone jack, hammering the protruding end until it was fully in. Then I removed the tool and the broken headphone jack piece came out alongside it. Not much else to say. It’s probably a multi use tool despite what is advertised. Worth it even for a one time use.”

“Worked perfectly. I’d felt it was a bit expensive for what it is, but on the other hand it was a lot cheaper than fixing the ipad any other way - and the next time my 9 yr old (& there will be a next) breaks off an earphone plug it’ll cost me nothing to fix!”
