My Mac Mini mid-2011's specs explicitly say that *Thunderbolt* output will run 2k resolution. I wasn't sure if this cable would have all the functionality required, but the phone attendant assured me it would.
The cable came in a timely fashion, and works as promised! It appears to be good quality as well.”
