“My 2008 Macbook Pro suddenly started to shut down without warning. After a few anxious days and some research I realised the magsafe adapter was shorting out. The unit purchased from Macfixit, was easy to find, simple to order, quick to arrive and has totally solved my problem.”
“Charger not working properly, quite touchy and amber LED very faint. Does strange things to my MacBook including battery indicator telling me it is not charging at times or MacBook not willing to restart after going to sleep and will only restart when I reattach the charger cable. Cord also very stiff compared to my genuine cable so I guess this is not a genuine item as advertised. I’ve reverted back to using my old and genuine charger and all is well again. The chargers we sell are Authentic Apple chargers, we source them from OWC who is our main supplier you may find them under this link:

They are guaranteed Apple genuine and they have been tested and checked with Apple. They are also covered by Apple warranty. We have also checked the stock with the local Apple store and they are indeed genuine. Please note that Apple use three different manufacturers for their Apple chargers, Samsung, Lite-On and Delta. The chargers somewhat very in their production so some of the details might be different but they are Apple chargers and they are manufactured for Apple.
However the behaviour of the charger you are describing is not typical, this sounds like a faulty charger. You're entitled to a replacement or a refund, we will be happy to send you a free return label to get this charger replaced, please email us the details to info@clickspot.com.au and we will give you some instructions on how to open a return request. We need this done to have a paper trail for all faults of our products.

“The item is advertised as genuine Apple. However it wasn't in the typical Apple packaging and the MagSafe cord is also quite different than the one from a genuine charger. Really stiff and not flexible at all. It works but I suggest to pay a bit more and buy a genuine one from Apple”

“I needed a new charger urgently for a work function. Although this was the cheapest one I could find, and paid for Express Post at 1pm was told that the cutoff for same day overnight delivery was 11am. This is far earlier than Australia Post advertises of 6pm to be delivered the next day within the network. Due to this I received it 2 business days after I ordered it. Surely someone could have dropped the parcel into the post when I called asking for assistance.”
