“Had this battery for just under a year. Sorry to say I am not happy with its performance. According to the description, it should be better than the original battery. I followed the calibration instruction as documented. When I first ran the system I observed a reasonable power drop to around 50%. Over 1 to 1.5 hour period. A little quicker than expected. After reach fifty %, the battery discharge appears to speed up. At around 30% one has any from 20 minutes to 2 minutes before the mac-book suddenly stops - no power. I re-calibrated again. This made no difference. Almost a year on, the battery discharges so rapidly in the last 30% that if id do not get to the charger in time, it even loses clock setting! There is not enough charge left to keep the system clock alive. Overall your only get 2 hours of normal usage on a full charge. If one is watching video stream that reduces to 45 mins. However, on standby, i.e the mac-book is shutdown, it holds its charge well. Either there is something wrong with this mac-book (which I doubt as it is working in all other respects), or there is a problem with this particular battery, or these batteries do not work as well as described. The latter is sadly my experience with most after market batteries.”
