“Good product. It was used to replace a HDD in a 2011 Mac Mini, and the machine is many times faster booting and opening applications than with the HDD. Appreciated the notes and traps on installing on machines with OS X 10.8.2 preinstalled. I ended up formatting in an external dock than using Carbon Cloner Copy to copy the HDD contents to the SDD.
I also installed a data doubler, at the same time and left the itunes music library on the HDD.”
