“So very happy with the product and guidance to replace my old 2012 HDD and 8gig RAM with OWC Mercury Electra 6G SSD and 16gig of RAM. The replacement process was simple and there resulting performance is outstanding. So satisfied. My only advice is to buy correct Torx screw driver. OWC could also provide clearer advice on options for cloning the old HDD to the new SSD. I bought a $15 external SATA case with which I first placed the OWC SSD to clone the old HDD, then swapped the drives, giving me the old drive in the $15 external case. Great outcome!”

“I picked up a second hand MacBook Pro Late 2011 in great condition. After upgrade the RAM (with OWC) I further enhance performance by swapping out the HDD for a 500Gb SSD. It was not difficult to do following the online tutorial, and has made a huge difference to the boot and application load speed. Very glad I upgraded and very happy with OWC (both RAM and SSD)”
