“I ordered a 1.0TB (1TB) OWC Aura SSD flash upgrade kit, and quickly received an email saying was out of stock and would it would take 10 business days before it could be despatched. The email was also followed up with a phone call to let me know to. I can honestly say that the customer service and communication kept me in the loop and will ensure that should I need any Mac equipment I will come back to Macfixit.

“Finally have heaps of space on my Macbook Air, which I bought with only 256GB. I am so glad I bought this upgrade kit instead of buying a new mac, much cheaper and way better option as most mac's dont' get more than 500GB of space on them. If you are considering doing the upgrade, I highly recommend it! Videos are easy to follow and instructions are very clear!”

“This unit is working perfectly in my Macbook Air. The only downside to having the Air was the capacity, I was constantly dragging things on and off. This kit ended up having a double benefit, not only is my Air able to run all that I want (In particular multiple VM's), you also get a USB3 case for your original SSD, so you have a perfect backup drive.
There are some traps, the driver is not pure mac so bootcamp restore didn't work for me, however the main Mac Drive restored perfectly and it was time for a "windows" clean up anyway!”
“The whole experience of buying and installing this was flawless. I ordered, it came quickly, I followed the instructions and now my mac has twice the storage it started with, plus I have a 500Gb external SSD too ! It all works! Perfect!”
