I thought everything was very nice but the filet was tough and tasted more like top sirloin.

Our Valentine's Day Dinner for Two arrived frozen and securely packed in a Styrofoam chest with dry ice. Cooking instructions were very easy and cooking times were precise. My husband and I enjoyed the best Valentine's Day ever!

The beef was very tender and we loved the Duxelles mushrooms. We loved the potatoes and onion bites. We had a problem getting the pastry on the beef to brown without over cooking the beef inside. Please give better directions on oven temperature and how to cook the pastry to brown without over cooking the beef.

I bought this as a Christmas meal for my daughter and her significant other. They absolutely enjoyed their dinner!

The appetizers were fantastic. The Beef Wellington itself was just ok. I had not prepared Beef Wellington before (either from frozen or at all), and the instructions were not complete. When it said you had to defrost the beef wellington in the refrigerator, it didn't say if you had to do that it inside the packaging or take it out of the packaging. It was Christmas Day and no one was available. I looked on the website and there were no answers. I found some other similar purveyors of this type of frozen item, and some said leave it in the packaging while it defrosts, and others said take it out of the packaging to defrost. I left it in the packaging. After cooking, the pastry shell was not as a I expected. It was sort of soggy I guess, more like an apple crumble pie consistency than flaky pastry. It could be that this was because it should have been removed from the packaging after all before defrosting. The meat itself was of excellent quality. The chocolate desert was interesting, but far too sugary and sweet for me. I had one bite and left it at that. Would I order it again? I'm not sure. If I were to do it again, I would not do it for an important meal. I would order it for a regular day and make sure that I can get it to come out the way I envision it. Then I would possibly order for an important event like Christmas.
