“My sister bought me and my wife one of the cakes and it arrived between Christmas and New Years. This is good since our anniversary is Dec. 29 and we had three reasons to share this delightful desert. We had eight people over for cake and coffee mid-afternoon and a nice time was had by all. We all agreed that this cake is singular and loved the icing.
Now I am looking forward to getting another one so we can have Cake Day in the spring.”
“I watched the segment on 60 minutes regarding Smith Island. During the segment they mentioned the Smith Island cake. Interested I ordered it. That being said the frosting was very good, the layers of the cake I thought seemed a little stale. The cake came well packaged and easy to defrost and serve.”
