NOT GOOD. Tasted like watered down mash potatoes. Not creamy or fluffy. Almost like powdered. I did exactly like the directions on the package. It says to put in frozen. I called customer service to verify whether or not to keep the container cover on while baking and it was confirmed to keep it on. Part of the top or lid material did in fact melt back. The potatoes were not done after 50 minutes, some frozen. Because part of the lid melted I put the potatoes in a casserole dish and they finally cooked but were terrible. Sadly I bought some other sides for Thanksgiving and they were also huge disappointment. Cranberry stuffing was gummy never cooked correctly, tasted terrible so I threw away. Squash strudel not great. I took the box out of the freezer and transferred in the box to the refrigerator for two days per instructions. Never thawed. Consequently cooked up poorly. And were not good. Wanted to make life easier by purchasing some side dishes. Costly mistake!

Potatoes taste great. Good consistency and right amount of creaminess. However, package tray is a disaster. First package had shattered and splintered tray with detached film. Replacement package was equally damaged. Tray plastic probably is not capable of sustaining deep freeze. Reheating damaged package takes patience and creativity.

While the texture was not a thick as I had expected, the flavor was great!

I love Mackenzie products and have bought a lot in the past few months. This is the first product that was not good. The problem was that it was VERY salty. It may have been a production error. Both my husband and I found it inedible and threw it out. It was unfortunate.

Very disappointing. Thought they would be great, but not much flavor.

Ok, so I read all the reviews so I must be the only one with this problem. The directions on my box says to remove the lid. There was no lid other than the plastic cover, so I pulled that off. Now they have been in the oven for 50 minutes and are still frozen in the middle, so I came online to read reviews and saw on the preparation tab that the plastic was supposed to be left on. Potatoes may be for dessert this year. I licked the spoon I tried to stir them with and they taste good. Maybe I'll just stick them in the microwave.
