Have been buying for about 5 years and when I saw something very similar at Whole Foods, I tried theirs. No comparison! I am back to my favorites to keep in the freezer for company, guests, snack, treat, breakfast, etc. I REALLY like them. My preference is the hazelnut-filled, but never pass on the fruit-filled. I place frozen items in micro on DEFROST for 2-3 to enjoy.

This I t second time,I have purvchaed beignets From Mackenzie.'s . The first time the beignets were totally looking really pathetic . These were replaced without any hassel. The second time - the beignets were mostly thawed but not compeely so I did not call. Big - . mistake. They didn't last and they didnt taste very good either .

These did not hold up after being defrosted. My group did not enjoy them. Sticky and not too interesting.

Addicting. They are great with coffee in the morning- or a midday snack or after dinner dessert- any excuse to eat them. Keep plenty on hand

It was a tasty gift for my dear friend who loves beignets very much.as they remind her of her childhood and her family. So she shared with me and they were really really excellent.

I had higher expectations for these. The dough was fine, and they tasted fresh. I wish there was a bit more filling as the jam filing mixes a bit with the dough so you never truly get a jam bite. I forgot the package came half jam filled half hazelnut and inadertently thawed some of the hazel nut ones. After one bite I realized my error and it was a benedyl day for me LOL. That said, others who did eat them said the hazelnut ones were better because the filling was more distinct from the beignet dough itself.
