I received a gift from Mackenzie from my sister in law and brother and I have to say it was great! It was the lobster/twice baked potato/broccoli casserole/lava cake package. The quality of the food and the taste of everything was unmatched! I was very pleased. There was one issue (not too bad) that I thought I would share with you - -
The potatoes came wrapped in cellophane but without instructions so I looked them up on the website which explained the cooking instructions but did not say whether to thaw them first. I called Mackenzie and got immediate help from a customer service representative who couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I got my information quickly and thanked her and went to prepare the dinner. All came out beautifully except for the broccoli casserole which seemed to be cold in the middle. To be fair, it may have been an issue with my oven as it does act up. I had some of the broccoli from the pan edges and it was quite good but, of course, hotter would have been better. The next day I was able to thoroughly reheat the rest of the broccoli and it truly was out of this world!
The lobster was amazing and it steamed beautifully. It was a very generous portion! The potatoes came out perfectly and were also delicious! The lava cakes were exceptional and I had never had success with any lava cakes purchased elsewhere before - I was thrilled!
I can't say enough about the quality of the food - - it was equal to any of the 5 star restaurants I've been to. I will recommend your company and purchase my own meals in the future. Thank you for such an amazing meal you created. It made my birthday extra special!
