“Hoped for zing. A more intense lemon flavor with the creaminess the balance of the cake deserves. That is true of the three lemon desserts I've tried from Mackenzie. Haven't tried the lemon bars because I don't enjoy the crust that bars have. The three Limoncello Cake, Lemon Cream Cake and Lemon Cream Swirl Cake leave lemon lovers like myself wondering, "Why mute what is best, the zing or zest of the fruit?"”
