“The lobster tails were very tasty and tender. I ordered two boxes for four of us as the main course for Christmas dinner. They are not large and two each was a good size given that it was the main course and we did not have a whole lot of other food. The instructions could be better. They say keep frozen, and then put a one inch slit across each pouch where the butter is. So far so good (and that is what we did). Then microwave for 3 minutes. Instructions did not say how powerful a microwave or whether it was one lobster or four for 3 minutes, but we figured it had to be 3 minutes for one, so about 12 minutes for four. I was worried that 12 minutes would be too much and so I did less in the powerful microwave (over the stove kind). For the first box, did 10 minutes at power 9 and five minutes later decided to zap to keep them hot for one minute at power 9. That worked great. While we ate the first round, I did the second box at 11 minutes at power 9, and the lobster was a little dry, so I would not do that long in a powerful microwave oven. The box did not say if the lobster was already cooked, but I believe not, so you can check when cooking to see if the visible portion of the lobster has turned white (i.e. done). Note, for serving, we found it worked well to pour the melted butter sauce from each lobster tail pouch into a bowl and spoon some on the lobster tails on each plate before serving. Then put the bowl on the table. If you keep the whole butter sauce from the pouch on the lobster tails, you will have a plate full of melted butter sauce soup.”
