“I ordered this cake for my parents and they really enjoyed it! They don't like anything too sweet so from the reviews, it sounded like it was good choice. The best part for me was that the company emails you when it's out for delivery, when it's been delivered, etc. I'm glad I found this site for future orders!”
“My sister in law said it was more of a vanilla cake with some strawberries. Not as much strawberry as the photo shows on the website at all. No strawberries on top either. She liked the vanilla cake flavor though.”
“I purchased this as a 90th Birthday cake for my mother. It arrived undamaged, well packaged and on time.Thus the 2 stars. Looked wonderful. BUT, very disappointed that there were no strawberries on top of the cake as pictured. Rather "bland" looking. We cut the cake which was very moist and I will say, very tasty. However, any signs of "strawberry puree" were far from present. A very small amount of a jelly like paste was there, but no sign of anything like strawberries. The first three pieces had none at all! As for the "light whipped cream", am sorry, but no way. Kinda fake tasting.. For what this cost, and the Mackenzie reputation, we were all very disappointed.”
