“We loved the flavor and easy prep. However, be aware that the ring is held in place with several wooden skewers. They are the same length as the diameter of the ring and embedded in it so that no part of the skewer is showing. I discovered them only when I began cutting the ring into sections. There were 3 of them and they criss-crossed the ring. They were difficult to locate and remove without mangling the ring. However, we enjoyed the sausage enough that we will order again and try to figure out a way to remove the skewers neatly.”
