“I've heard of macaroons often and was quite anxious to try them...when I read that yours were imported from France, I was sure they would be a confection worth remembering. In reality, they were okay but nothing special. The cookie themselves were spongelike in consistency and pretty tasteless. The flavor came from the fillings that were subtle but a compliment to the texture of the cookies. They were good, but I wouldn't order them again.”
