“I sent this item to my parents for Christmas. So they would have a quick, quality dinner, as they are moving in a week, and everything is packed. They said it was tasteless and the rice was hard. They did not eat but a couple of bites and threw it away, including the 2nd unopened package. They ordered locally instead. Maybe this is a one-off batch, but it was no bueno!”
“I was very disappointed in the texture and taste of this casserole. I followed the instructions and cooked from frozen for 45 minutes. The casserole was still frozen in the center and a cold, gummy mess on the edges. I had to keep increasing the time by 10 minutes until done, for about 30 extra minutes. And nothing is wrong with my oven! I don't recommend cooking from frozen as the thawed, cooked casserole improved in taste and texture, but not enough for me to purchase again.”
